The Learning Resource Centre LRC offers you different training workshops, at various levels, in which you, as a teacher or administrator, can register your group.
On-site workshops have a maximum capacity of 25 people.
Evening and Saturday workshops in the on-site modality, only at the Central Library.
IMPORTANT: The essential workshop is not offered to incoming undergraduate students, as they are currently taking it online.
Once completed in Blackboard, the intermediate workshop can be scheduled.
It covers the main search tools and explains the difference between working professionally with information and continuing to do so in a colloquial way.
Designed for groups with a specific information need, the teacher may have a project that requires certain information and in the first part the main databases in their area of knowledge are explained to the group, to then accompany them in their searches and achieve a better level of quality in their results.
Workshop of at least two hours to assist the group in installing, setting up and using the key features of this reference management software. It is an excellent tool to manage important research projects such as thesis, publications, or as a teaching tool to organise academic or research work.
In this workshop, the group of students, teachers or administrators openly ask for advice on some aspect of the library, or they need a workshop with some specialisation in a particular area, or they want to have a more in-depth workshop to deal with several aspects of information management, etc.
Check the calendar below for available dates and times, or to see which workshops are already scheduled.
If you are a student, you can review the scheduled workshops and request information to enrol in one (limited).
